BA eNtertainment Galore! (BANG!) 2011
*glam glam blink blink WOOOHOOOOO!*
Okay you may ask what exactly is BANG??
BANG is a talent competition held annually by BA_COMMnunications which provides a platform for students, from the School of BA, to showcase their talent before a large audience!
Well, non-BA student can also take part in this event, by forming a group, consisting of at least 1 student from the School of BA!
Students who are interested can sign up for the auditions, either as a solo performer, or in a group of 2 or more members.
Take note that the performance for the auditions should be no longer than 1 minute!
Your performance can be anything under the sun, as long as it is not offensive! You can sing, dance, beatbox, act, skate, juggle and more!

Official Rules and Regulations
Criteria of contestant
- Contestants must be students from School of Business and Accountancy (BA) or groups must consist of at least 1 student from School of BA.
- Contestants can either take part in the competition as individuals or as a team.
Note that: Those who take part in the competition as individuals are NOT allowed to take part again as a team, and vice versa. - Contestants must be current students of Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Competition details
- The competition consists of 2 phases, the Preliminaries and Finale.
- To participate in the competition, contestants may choose to perform any talents such as singing, acting, stand-up comedy, dancing, etc as long as the performance is not offensive.
- Registration is free for the competition. CCA points will be given ONLY to students of BA once confirmed as contestants for the Finale phase of the competition.
- There is no limit to the number of performers in each team as long as all the members follow contest rules and requirements. The team has to fill up details required of all members of each team.
- For the Preliminaries phase, contestants are to prepare for a 1 – 2 minutes performance.
Note that: Contestants are to self-prepare their own instrumentals for their performances. This includes the minus-one (background music tracks) and also the musical instruments they need. - Deadline for the submission of entries for Preliminaries is 09th July 2011.
- The result of the Preliminaries will be announced promptly through emails and after the auditions on the 14th July 2011.
- Upon entering the competition, contestants must agree to be bound by all terms of these official Rules and Regulations as established herein. Contestants agree to accept and abide the decisions of organizing committees and its judges that are final and binding in all matters.
Note that: This includes COMPULSORY attendance of all the technical runs and preparations of the competition. Any valid absentees are to be reviewed and approved by the organizing committees. - The Finale will be held on August 10th at LT 26, Ngee Ann Polytechinic.. Contestants are expected to perform live.
- The decision made by the competition's panel of judges is FINAL.
Others
- In the event of the breach of any of the above rules and regulations, the organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any participant.
- Decisions made by the organizing committee are final; no questions will be entertained thereafter.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to change any of the above rules and regulations when found to be unsatisfactory without prior notifications.
Prizes
· Trophies and prizes will be awarded for Top 3 Winners of the competition.
· Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all Finalists.
